Viridian Co brings a thrilling sci-fi experience by merging the depths of RTS with the intensity of a TPS, mixing strategic control, fast-paced combat, and an immersive world shaped by original music.
About the Game
In a far‑future frontier, humanity discovers Viridian crystals—a resource so potent it can bend minds. Some become Mindwalkers, able to bewitch others and seize control in battle. Megacorps and collectives race to industrialize entire star systems, igniting a war between individualist and collectivist ideologies.
Viridian Co fuses the tactical scale of an RTS with the visceral immediacy of a third‑person action game. Swap perspective in real time to command squads, secure zones, and then drop straight into a body on the front line to turn the tide yourself—seamlessly, without a loading screen.
Why the RTS ↔ TPS Switch Matters
Most games split strategy and action into separate modes or separate games. Viridian Co treats them as one continuous loop. From a design standpoint, this creates a closed feedback cycle:
- Plan at the RTS layer → Execute in TPS → Measure outcomes → Adapt strategically.
- Decisions at one layer instantly enrich the other (e.g., a successful bewitch at TPS opens a flank, which changes macro strategy; a smart zone capture at RTS unlocks equipment and reinforcements for your on‑foot push).
- The result: deep agency without downtime—your choices travel across layers, rewarding both tactical foresight and mechanical skill.

- Mindwalking (Bewitch): A high‑risk, high‑reward ability to take control of key units to disrupt formations or pull off clutch plays.
- Zone‑Control Warfare: Capture, fortify, and exploit strategic sectors. Zones feed your economy, unlock abilities, and shape battle flow.
- Adaptive Audio & Original Score: A responsive sound system and original music that evolve with your tactical state and on‑foot intensity.
- UE5.5 Tech: Modern rendering, robust AI navigation & custom tools behind the scenes for smooth, large‑scale encounters.
- Give‑Back Ethos (dev side): We document our pipeline and plan community assets (plugins/tools, devlogs) to help other UE teams ship faster.
